Greenwich Place Apartments

Nothing but great experience at Putnam Green Townhouses! With a family of four and a dog, we had plenty of room and the layout was perfect. The updated floors and kitchen appliances went great with our furniture and to have a powder room in a rental was great for guests. Our agent Susan was professional, sweet and a pleasure to work with. Guest parking was a bit of a challenge, but with planning and anticipating your visitor, you can easily manage. Snow removal was fast and efficient and the grounds upkeep was really very efficient. We had a problem with washing machine and the staff handled it professionally and swiftly. I can go on and on about our experiences at Putnam Green, especially after reading what was posted before, but you have to go see Susan and the unit and i promise, you will be more than satisfied!

Great experience choosing an apartment at Greenwich Place. Morgan and Susan were extremely helpful throughout the process. Questions were answered thoroughly and honestly.

A little context for this review: I have lived in about 12 complexes over the years in 3 states. I have seen pretty much every type - had almost every problem. I lived at Greenwich Place for 1 year (2014). So with that, here was my experience with Greenwich Place. Aside from what is noted below, I found the rest of the property satisfactory - nothing to praise or criticize. Pros: - The property is maintained very well. - The units are very nice. - The prices are INITIALLY fairly good. Cons: - The staff that gets you to sign the lease are nice. That's where the niceties end. The rest of management are truly nasty. They will threaten you for things are not your fault. They are also very disorganized and blame you for their mistakes (cue the threatening after that). - Parking is a nightmare. Yes, you get one space per unit. However, guest parking does not exist near most units - it's quite a walk to the very few guest spaces, and they are usually taken by residents who do not want to pay for an extra space (always the same cars in them). Management does nothing about this. And they do actually boot and tow, so no loopholes for parking. - EXPECT a rent increase - and a significant one. They wanted to increase my rent by 7% after the first year, which I found unacceptable. I asked for supporting information - they just claimed that they had a "waiting list" for my unit. Personally, I do not find that ok. Hope this helps - best of luck!

I lived @ Putnam Green in 1968. GREEDY Nasty Management Threw all the families out cause ov 1 to many kids in a 2 bed apt.
