Made online rental request. First vehicle wouldn't start right away, even after several attempts, finally started. The gentleman said we can't have you driving a vehicle that is untrustworthy, and presented me with a Toyota Corolla. Had it for a weeks time, ran great very good replacement vehicle to use while my Jeep was in for repairs. Highly recommend the Enterprise location in Murphy Flats/Fenton Mo.

This review should not be reflective of other Enterprise locations as i have always had success at airport locations. Bottom line, this site had an employee dedicated to washing cars and another working the front desk and it took them 1 1/2 hours to get 4 cars out the door. That is over 20 minutes a car. This is unacceptable performance and when bringing to the attention of the manager it was simply "we were short staffed that day and nothing we could do about it". I will say that the tall gentlemen working the desk was way more accommodating and apologetic than his manager was. He should be promoted in dealing with a serious back office issue that he could not control. I hope this locations fixes their issues so i can at some point again rent from this convenient location close to my home. For now i will prefer Avis for home office and continue with National/Enterprise at the airport.

My husband and I are repeat customers and we are normally highly satisfied, but our recent rental was disappointing.
First, we weren't offered unlimited mileage like we usually get, the tires were low on air and had to be taken down the street to check the pressure. The interior was sticky and full of sand on the floor and seats. They did offer to vacuum it but we needed to get on the road so we declined. I felt it should have been cleaned before we got there. The employees were nice.

After renting dozens of cars, many from the Fenton location, it is time to be clear about the poor service at this location. One car I had a Nissan Altima had no heat at the foot discharge location (in the winter). Another car had a tire with 24psi with the others being 40, 35, and 35. I was told it was probably due to cold weather, which is false because the other tires had air, it was obviously a slow leak, not good for starting a 6 hour drive. I had to waste time returning that car and get a worse car, Nissan Versa which had no arm rest for a 6 hour drive each way. Then I was charged intermediate rate for a compact. Then the last incident I was given another low quality car with ripped carpet and changed out poor quality front tires. I was rented a car that was boxed in by other cars but I was going home for an hour to come back and get it. I got back and it was still boxed in by even more cars. The line was long and I didn't feel I should have to wait in line a 2nd time, so after one person left in a car, I could see that I could get the car out. When I went to do this, I was told by one of the employees to stop and then to wait for him to attend to other customers. I explained to him that I was there first, over an hour ago and the cars blocking mine should have been moved out of the way by then. I should be first in line at that point not last in line for a 2nd time. What if I had not made it back until after closing time, would they have left my rented car blocked in? I’m sure the answer is YES. Service at this location has gone down hill in a big way, cars are rarely cleaned, cars have significant wear and damage and are generally the bottom of the barrel, air pressure is not checked, oil is not changed in time, wiper blades are usually bad. I used to let it slide as generally I’d get a little better car the next time, now you get dirty cars, poor service and old junky cars every time. Many of the clients here want to rent a car with a debit card, no credit card, no proof of address, seen it first hand, and these are the clients they cater to. This location doesn’t know what a business traveler is.
