Inspector listed concern about cement siding on home without researching issue first. His lack of knowledge almost stopped a half million dollar sale. After contacting two contractors and the company that manufactured product it was confirmed the siding was installed correctly. The issue should never have been listed on the inspection report which caused a significant amount of concern for the buyer. Steve should have done research first. He also left the air conditioning running even though system was not blowing cold enough air We were on vacation and didnt return for over a week causing A C to run almost continually and spike our electric bill. We had asked him to leave everything the way it was when he arrived ( A C was off when he arrived)

missed our whole bathroom floor was rotten.. missed deck was installed wrong. water ran down against rim joist and everything was rotten

Steve Brink did my inspection. He was incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to help us understand the history of our pest problems prior to our purchase of the home, without having even seen our house before. Amazing! He helped us to determine the best solutions going forward regarding our pest control needs. Great consultant. Oh, and he did that all for nothing. He was only here to do a VA refinance inspection. He saved us a LOT of money. Thank you so much Steve!

Steve is very thorough, extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and always readily available. He is our go to inspector for every home we need to have inspected. Great guy, wonderful inspector. Definitely recommend.

The inspector missed: 1.That every single heating vent was full of debris, drywall dust, nails and probably mold and chemicals that are a respiratory hazard. Literally didn't even take the vent covers off because he was that disinterested in safety. 2. Missed exposed wires on an outdoor electrical socket next to a Kids Bus stop. 3. Missed that the house has zero smoke detectors. 4. Missed that the bathroom tiles or fixtures were not sealed, so mold will grow and tiles will start to fall off with humidity build up in bathroom. Those are just the highlights of what he missed. Inspector was recommended by Coldwell Banker realtor ( #CBGREATLAKES ) Never responded to an email attempting to contact him about my concerns. He lacks the courtesy and integrity to communicate with a client whose safety he put at risk.
